Digital BW, The Print

Folks

i have an R300 epson that makes beautiful prints on rag paper. I've  
also been using it to print mailing labels. It's loaded with off brand  
refilled carts of dye ink.

just tonite, it made a good black only label THEN it printed one that  
looked blue and it gives a message "service required. printer parts  
are at the end of the service life etc...."

does it need a reset?

where can i find the code/program?

i use only macs, do i have to find someone with a pc to do it?
