Digital BW, The Print

Thanks for the advice. I was leaving out the piece where the expert told me
throw it away and not even sell it for parts.

I trusted this published water color artist that it was working fine before
buying.

I have worked with several 1280's in the years past.

From your description of what is going on I would suggest that you put the
poor thing out of it's misery and move on to a printer that works correctly.
 If you purchase used...try to test the machine first.
