Thanks Mike, OS is Windows XP SP3, QTR version 2.7.0.0 Also, my second calibration chart printed at "35%" does not seem any different from that printed at "100%" L values for K on the 35% calibration sheet are: (going from 0% to 55%) 24,21.2,19.2,18.3,16.9,16.1,15.9,15.7,15.7,15.5,15.9,16.2 similar to the L values of the K ink for the 100% calibration chart in my first post above. shouldn't the values for the second calibration chart be such that there is decent seperation until the 100% step? Instead I am reaching dmax around 35% again (just like in the 100% calibration chart) Yan --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Mike Finley <mike.finley@...> wrote: > > It might be helpful to know which version of QTR, and which operating > sytem you are using. > > On 18/12/2010 19:01, Yan wrote: > > > > I am doing the first steps of creating QTR curves using EPSON enhanced > > matte and EB6 with the 1400 printer.
