bebop was going to kill jazz 50 yrs. ago and now it's taught at universities as a classical jazz art form. unfortunately the students play bebop like they learned it. digital images will eventually be taught as a classic method also and the students might make images like they learned them also. i sold an inkjet print to an art, music and book critic and his wife who have been around for a long time but all they were interested in was the image. never asked how it was done. they cared only about the substance and my eye. i guess i'm a lurker who came out of the closet. never thought of myself as a lurker. voyeur has more class. i thank you all for all i have learned by lurking----yuk. that brian eno article was excellent. i am just an old cat having fun. the darkroom trays are very good for soaking bonsai plants but i cannot go home again. i started to feel like a vampire in the darkroom. thank you for the wonderful info in this group.
