Re: [Digital BW] Re: New printer

A recent Epson experience that may or may not apply to a 1400: When I
set up a new C88+ recently I tried to start off using partially full OEM
color carts (the old printer died with ink left in the carts - I kept
'em) but the printer wouldn't even start its setup routine. Had to put
full ones in, then it started up and ran fine. I know you can stick in
partially full carts in normal use, but apparently the printer has to
begin with full ones. At least on the C88 line.

Just FWIW.

Cheers,
Kip
