It is possible to get very decent calibration from this monitor. I am using Spyder3Elite. Read http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/content/dell_u2410.htm first and follow the advice about starting with "Standard" profile and not "Custom".

If you will be using this for multimedia in addition to photo work, it's probably going to be necessary to switch modes. The article covers that as well.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
