Digital BW, The Print

Hi,
I've got a strange phenomenon happening with my 3800.

Due to illness, my printer's had little use this year - but every 
couple of weeks I do nozzle checks. I'm getting no gaps in the test 
pattern, but the LM consistently has grey tinting in party of it - 
requiring about ten nozzle checks with automatic cleaning cycles to clear.

If anyone has thoughts about how to avoid this problem, I'd be most 
interested as I'm wasting a lot of ink with the checks/cleaning cycles.
