Greg, 
 Sorry, I don't know a thing about Roland printers,
but I noticed that you're from the Valley.  I'm from
Weslaco but live in Dallas.  Are there many people
that work in fine art inkjet printing in the Valley? 
Have you already been working in inkjet?
 For what it's worth, I print on an Epson 1280 and use
MIS Variable Mix inks and Paul Roark's curves.  I get
excellent results with this setup.  Of course, this
only allows me to print 13" wide.
