Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,
I wondered if anyone has experience of the  Canon iPF 5100 with regard to print head reliability.

I've had three Epsons (currently the 3800) and they have all had clogging issues, even with OEM ink. My printer's been used less this year (due to illness), which seems to have triggered the problem this time.

I believe the Canon has a user-replaceable print head, which sounds like a positive thing.

My vendor said that the latest Epsons have a silicon coating on the head, which helps reduce clogging and that they've also slightly reformulated the inks to help this as well.
