I think it is a high boiling point surfactant that will allow the water to boil but still be there to do it's job, including keeping the heater in the head clean. Imaging Specialists also has a thermal head equivalent of glop but my source is in Europe. As long as I am not sure that it will work I better keep this brand unclear. Mixing it with a brush on gloss paper reveals that it may prolong drying time and I suspect that it does not heal the bronzing that the HP Vivera grey inks show, could be worse.
