While looking on line I found that Ott Lites were frequently mentioned along with other lights that simulate natural daylight as being prefered by artists. Seeing a clearance sale for them at the Craft shop and since my wife wanted to go and had a 30% coupon on the total purchase, on impulse I got a desk lamp and 3 of the CFL Ott bulbs to replace the regular CFL bulbs in my work area lights above where the printers will live. Was this a reasonable choice for work area lighting or do I have some very expensive light bulbs. Will there be an advantage in viewing the B&W prints in this light since the Ott light will be neither cool or warm. I am in the process of setting up my computer room and converting a work table into an area for B&W printing. Bill Lewis
