I painted a section of wall in my computer room with Rustoleum magnetic paint. I top-coated it with a neutral gray paint, and I use small, high-powered magnets to hold up prints. These are my favorite: http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=42359&cat=1,42363 On the ceiling I attached two pivoting light fixtures. These are the cheapest kind of fixture, costing only a few dollars. They are a plate that screws into a round electrical box. The bulb holder can be screwed into any of three mounting holes, and the holder itself pivots. I have two of them connect to a dimmer. The bulbs are Solux. If you do it this way, it's very inexpensive. If you use Solux fixtures, then it can get pricy. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
