I also went to their website and found the article "Pigments for Inkjet Applications" very informative on Pigment inks and the processes used in manufacturing them. The pro's and con's of the processes are discussed and a bit of the historical process in formulating inks to meet the demanding needs of inkjet printers is mentioned throughout. A very informative read. http://www.cabot-corp.com/wcm/download/en-us/ij/Pigments%20for%20Inkjet.pdf There are a number of other interesting articles but you may need to dust off the chemestry books as a reference to terms used or look them up on line. This also discusses the formulation of color inks and the reason Cyan clogs more often is mentioned all in all a very informative article and the other papers many dealing with carbon inks are also of some interest. None are easy reads but there is enough plain english to get the basics across. Bill Lewis
