I need a reminder on this as to why we do the way we do. Admittedly I get confused about all the selection points available, so I simply try to make them all the same at each step. I don't know which point in the process makes the final decision (?) As usual, I'm going to ask the question and then go about doing additional research. Forming the question always seems to help direction me ;-) If I had all my druthers - I would... 1. use Adobe RGB 1998 as a space setting all the time, for consistency to act as a constant to deviate from. I'm not attached to that particular space, but it seems widely accepted. Colormatch would be my second. sRGB always seems to drop magenta from the equation and therefore I like it least. 2. Print from CMYK and let the whoever interpret from there. Reason being is I can think better in the separation using CMYK. I know with the MIS VM inks what tone each carries, and if I wanted more of that tone...I would adjust the curve for that channel. So the thinking goes. Faults in the logic? TIA, Cleavis
