The MIS SK188 chip re-setter fits the Noritsu cart/chip and, if the flashing light turning from red to green is accurate, it appears to reset the chips.  I'd guess Epson uses the same technology for it's Noritsu carts as for it's standard Epson carts.

I don't know what you're doing there, but I'm sure, if you could profile the printers, that you could save a whole lot of money by using MIS or other dye in the Noritsu machines.  But, customers would not be getting the same quality of print in terms of longevity.  If Epson/Noritsu found you selling such prints without disclosing that they were not Epson/Noritsu inks, I suspect there would be a negative reaction from those companies.
