Peter Krogh has a pdf that explains it pretty clearly. http://www.thedambook.com/downloads/Camera_Scanning_Krogh.pdf I use a Beseler Slide duplicator and a Canon 1DMII with a macro lens. It's easy and fast but I still get better results with my Nikon LS5000.
