Say a true optical resolution of 2000 PPI delivered by the scanner is 4400 PPI on the 56x56 mm fil frame. 330x480 mm is the largest sheet size possible if I recall it correctly. For printer driver input there is 746 PPI available in best case, 513 PPI available in worst case. Ample enough, leaves some space for more cropping too. Dynamic range could be an issue depending on the density range of the B&W negative. Multi exposure in third party drivers helps then, Vuescan, Silverfast. -- Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst Dinkla Grafische Techniek Quad, pi\ufffdzografie, gicl\ufffde www.pigment-print.com
