Digital BW, The Print

There was a thread some few days ago with some adverse comments on MIS tech support.  I called them recently, asked for the tech guy, Bob, and spoke with him about a range of issues pertaining to the VM quad set.  We discussed the comparison to FS, the Roark and Brandin curves, how to modify curves, Tom Fors' "Curvaceous," Epson printers and policies, which papers work best, and so on.   While he couldn't answer every question, he was very helpful.  So I thought I'd throw this in, just in the interest of fairness.
