Re: B&W and Color with one printer?

2013-01-07 by remononaz1

Looks like you are ready for an Epson 1430; good, cheap and prints black and white or color brilliantly. Paul Roark has developed several black-only strategies and the materials are all available at MIS. MIS' color inks are good, too, though they fade faster than Claria inks.

My suggestions is get a printer and order both black and white and color refill kits from MIS. Put the Claria inks in a drawer and save them until you need to use them for some really special prints. You will be happy with the MIS inks an won't spend a fortune on Claria color inks.

I have more information on basic black and white printing on the 1400 at www.remononaz.blogspot.com. Paul is the go-to source for the details on the different black-only inks. http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/.
