MIS states, "Note: We Do Not Support Mixing OEM, Remanufactured, Empty, Or Compatible Cartridges, As Chip Issues May Result From Not Matching Sets. For This Reason We Only Offer These Empty Cartridges As A Complete Set." I find that I can mix the MIS carts I have with OEM Claria carts in my 1400s, but I have never tested a 1430. The disclaimer by MIS suggests a mixed set may be a problem, or at the very minimum, you're on your own if you do this.
