Barry, You already own the Piezo software which will work with all their supported printers. I would suggest you get a 1280 and special order some cartridges with both the standard Full Spectrum and the Neutral Full Spectrum to use with the Piezo driver. You could also try some MIS VM in cartridges with Paul Roark's curves and see if you like that. Once you have decided which ink you like order a CIS. The Niagara and Conetech seem to be the most popular but you might want to check out WeInk, too.
