I have a 1400 with the UT-14 ink set and a 1430 with color ink. I'll try this out on the 1430 and report back on how well it works. I can compare this to prints made with the UT-14 and Carbon-6 ink sets. If this works reasonably well, it would be a good starting point for people just getting into black and white conversions.
