Tina, I Suggest that you look up the patch for the Nikon Scan software. I
have Nikon scan running on a Win 7 machine with it and I have  used it that
way for quite some time. It can be a bit much for people that don't do ANY
computer maintenance but for those with more skills it is really quite easy.

I'm using my Nikon LS2000 daily with Windows 7 and Vuescan. It also works
with Silverfast. The Nikon software will not work with Windows 7.
