You have to open and save the QTR profiles. When you save a profile, it makes a *.quad file that is what the program actually uses. With QTR, open the "Curve Creator" and use it to open and save the profiles, one at a time as needed.
I hope this takes care of the problem

Hi Paul,
II went to the pdf and downloaded the qtr profiles for the 1400. I am really excited to see how the metallic papers can be used. Once I unzipped the file, I could not see the profiles in QTR. I tried to put them in various printer profiles 1400 mis ect, no luck. I also reinstalled the software and tried again, just in case I had buggered a setting.I can see the profiles in windows explorer, in the proper folder, I did a copy and paste, and also unzipped to the location as well. But nothing shows up in QTR interface, just the preloaded profilesAny suggestions?Scott
