For framed prints, I use a picture rail molding with picture rail hooks all painted the wall color. Prints are hung with a braided nylon cord (origin unknown) and developed a unique hook system that allows for relatively easy raising and lowering of prints. Refer to the Dropbox linked snapshots for the following: The hook system uses a short length of narrow tubing about 1/2' long by 1/8" in diameter. The cord is passed down through the tube and then through one end of a universal connecting link (one end opened to become the hook); once through the link the cord is passed up through the tube and then down the outside and passed through the corded "U" that the link is held by.
