OK...am getting ready to make a print. I did the quad tone rip thing back in 2004 with an 1160...but am having trouble with the latest as this is not a thing that four different tones are achievable without swapping the set. I am having trouble looking for EB6 in the latest QTR...and cannot find Epson Hot Press Natural. Am able to perhaps use the natural tone established for Piexography system. I am using a Mac G5 with Photoshop CS3...it is all terribly confusing. The PDF's made for this by Paul Roark are for a newbie daunting. I want to know how to use the system through Photoshop...and may print using the natural. But before i let 'er rip need to establish the correct protocol. Any help with that protocol would be great.

For the Epson driver, try just using the Color Controls and gamma 2.2. See page 4 - 5 in http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Eboni-6.pdf . It's not a bad way to start while you're getting a handle on QTR.
The QTR profiles should be in http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/1400-Eb6-Profiles.zip .
For the Mac QTR procedures, you'll have to pull up the discussions in this forum or the QTR forum -- http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/QuadtoneRIP/messages .
