Bill,

from everything I hear, ImagePrint 4 (from Colorbyte) has the potential to do 
the trick. They would even make profiles for your favorite ink and paper for 
free if they don't already have them.

I am not promoting them, and have never used their RIP myself. Just a 
direction for you to look at.
