I love black and white photography. And since I’m on a budget, I was intrigued by the prospect of 4-color printing on a cheap Epson with MIS EZ inks.
I took the plunge and purchased an Epson C88+ from Amazon and a set of Neutral/Matte EZ ink cartridges from MIS. Both came yesterday after a wait of only a few days. Kudos especially to MIS for the quick service.
But so far, “EZ” it hasn’t been. :-)
I’ve decided to chronicle my printing efforts on this forum because, a) I gather there’s a lot of knowledge and experience here with alternate inks and machines, and b) because there seems to be a scarcity of coherent and current information about the C8x plus EZ ink process on the web. Perhaps you all can help me lay a trail of bread crumbs through these posts for others who are new to this approach.
