Hi, It might be worth doing some searches on the web, Epson document it at http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?infoType=FAQ <http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?infoType=FAQ&oid=57105&foid=60050> &oid=57105&foid=60050 and it is mentioned by many others. Most suggest it is a carriage movement or an encoder strip problem. It started off as an intermittent problem that would go away for a week or two after I turned the printer off and on, but now I can't print because of it. I've tried the obvious and easy fixes first – e.g. there are no paper jams or debris, the carriage lock isn't engaged, etc. Still no luck. Suggestions?
