Jerry, >alike. Wells River sure doesn't feel like william turner. it is sandy and >gritty. The samples of william turner I had were not. Interesting, I bought some WT here in England and the 190 is definitely gritty and sandy as you say but the heavier weight 310 (I think) sample I have isn't anywhere near as gritty. Maybe Nij might comment as he has many, many papers at his disposal! <G> FWIW, I have noticed a couple of people commenting about problems with posterisation of prints using Somerset Velvet Enhanced, a 1280/90 and the VM curves. I _personally found the same issues on my 1290, but on Photorag, WT, Torchon no problem at all. I didn't alter Paul's curves at all and found the Warm curve to be the worst offender on SVE. Just my experience. Cheers, Neil _________________________________________________________________ Join the world\ufffds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
