Paul, i have been on your web site and MIS. It looks like MIS is selling one bottle of your ink or I am confused. Am i suppose to dilute the ink and put it in each of the cartridges ? I do not see on the MIS site the way to order just the Cyan position for example. I am looking to get an output as close to silver and was thinking about getting a 1430.
Thanks for any help
Pierre
Eboni will rub off of Pictorico film. It's only for matte paper.
The dilutions are by weight, but the specific gravity of the base and ink are about the same, so volume also works. Where it makes a difference is when you are mixing your own generic base. There the glycerol, in particular, is quite a bit heavier per volume than the water.

I'm looking at the Epson 1430 to use with the Eboni ink set. I'm planning on doing matte prints and think this would be a good fit.
My first question is can the eboni ink set print digital negatives using pictorico. I'm planning on using the printer mainly for matte prints. I'd like to be able to print negatives for alternative process
My second question is I've thought about about mixing the using the ink and c6b base from inksupply.com. Are the dilutions listed in Paul Roark's documentation by volume?
Thank you for your help. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get started.
