I missed out on the first run of the PiezoPro inks in the fall, and in the mean time I set up a WN K5+LcLmY printer. Now that the new run of inks is shipping I was able swap out the shade 1 and ran a few tests over the weekend. In short, everyone should buy this ink. I'm getting an easy 1.77-1.78 from the i1 Pro and 1.76 from the Spyderprint. (I measured up to 1.8 from the ink sep image, but it looks like 1.78 is the about the best I could do with 2 hahnamule papers in my first try with a real world profile). The best part is that it doesn't have that oily look of the STS MK. I wrote up a full post and compared it to a few of the currently available matte blacks (Epson compatible carbons only for now)... http://www.bwmastery.com/blog/testing-the-new-piezography-matte-black Richard Boutwell http://www.richardboutwell.com/ http://www.bwmastery.com/
