Andy, I've never tested the "outdoor" K that Media Street has. My Gen 3 actually came with the Enhanced/Beta black. I have that in the fader now with the Indelible K and VM K. (The Indelible distributors objected to my test using a sample from a third party, so this sample of the Indelible K is from M&M.) I suspect the Gen old K/outdoor K (I think they are the same) is about like the old MIS standard quad and archival color K. In tests of that ink compared to Piezo K, the MIS standard K faded about the same amount, but warm shifted slightly more. So, it was quite good in the fade department, but not up to VM K in the warm-shifting characteristics. But, again, this is the old MIS k, not the Gen K. Thanks for any insight. -Andy Darlow [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
