Bought Piezo B&W package (including CIS) for a dedicated 1160 a year ago. One day cloged, the next day banding, the day after a strong blue shift on glossy papers, etc... And these warm tones... How can it be considered as a black and white print? As a result, a couple of prints acceptable, hundreds of $ spent, and a huge frustration concerning a digital solution for B&W prints. Is there any other solution, more efficient (it should be easy when I read the last comments in the NG about Cone and Piezography) and less expensive? Is MIS quadtones and Paul's curves the way to go? JYRiggs PS: I'm not here to engage in polemic against Piezo. My wish is to find a good solution for printing B&W pictures as an expert amateur.
