Try weink.com. They sell CIS components separately, including 
chips described as follows: 
"Read Only Type 1 Smart Chips - For use with
T007,T008, T009,T017, T018 style cartridges only.
For use with Ultra-FLO III 870 and 1270 Systems.
Priced per chip. $44.99"
