Todd, Thanks for the warning!!! One thing Francoise missed is that you have to change the Marketing options to all be "No" and hit "Save Change" at the top of the page then get back to that page and change the Delivery Options and hit "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page. At least this is what I had to go through. Of course you could answer yes and direct all the e-mail to you Yahoo mailbox. <G> Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Todd Flashner" <tflash@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, March 29, 2002 10:11 PM Subject: [Digital BW] Check your Yahoo preferences: serious > I'm forwarding this along as I think it could be very relevant for most of > us. > > Todd > > > I just discovered through another Yahoogroups list that Yahoo has > > just made a sneaky change to everybody's 'Marketing Preferences.' > > > > The result could be a lot of email spams, phone calls from telemarketers, > > and more junk mail! > > > > Here is how to change the 'Marketing Preferences': > > > > Go to http://groups.yahoo.com > > > > Click on Account Info (top left) > > Sign in (Id and Password) > > > > Click on 'Edit your Marketing Preferences' and change the Yes buttons > > to NO as you desire.
