Alan, I was curious to see if there was actually a density fade in the MIS-FS inks. A comparison of the Luminosity values of many areas in the two images on that page do reveal fade on the print that turned brown. Some of the more knowledgeable people (at least the leading voices) on this list tend to use scanners to do their scientific work and observations. And using this method does reveal fade, not just warming. It is hard for me to be able to tell if the MIS prints I made have faded because I do not use the inks anymore so can not compare to fresh. I switched back to the Piezography inks. Yes but what a fabulous camera that you make! How fascinating that we have someone like Alan on this list! You know I have always been intrigued by your signature on your e-mails with the "lookaround camera" and now I know. What impresses me most is that your cameras are made with European craft! Real wood is so rare these days. Most of the hand-mades I have seen in the United States are comprised of metal. Maybe I will buy one of your cameras some day. -della __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
