You mean that a 13x19" print of a 6x7 scanned with the Epson2450 looks as
good as a 8x10" print of a 35mm scanned with a filmscanner?

Depends how much you want to pay.  Drum scans will look great but 
will cost a bundle.  I just bought a Epson 2450 scanner for my 6X7 
negs and they look great.  For $400 I think its definitely worth it. 
The prints look as good as the 35mm I scan and print as 8X10's.  You 
do need some computing power though.  A 13X19 at 300 dpi will be a 
big file.  Hope you have a lot of ram.
