I have an Epson Stylus Photo 780, and I'm trying to get started printing with the MIS sixtone inks. I just got the MIS Full Spectrum inks for the Epson 780 / 785 / 870 / 875 / 890 from MIS. However, I cannot find any workflow or curves to use with the 780 and these inks. The few prints I've tried look terrible, because I don't have the right curves. (It prints just fine, but the values are all screwed up.) The MIS site's "workflow" page (http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm? source=html/workflow.html) only has a few donated workflows and curves for some specific (and high end) printers. Why would MIS sell a sixtone cartridge for a the 780, if there's no apparent way to get it to work? An older post to this group mentioned that the MIS full spectrum inks were designed for the piezography drivers, but the MIS site says nothing about this. I can't tell if the 780 will work with the piezography system, and it looks to me that if you want to buy the piezo system, you have to buy it with different inks anyway. Is any of this true? I'm totally baffled and frustrated, not to mention stopped in my tracks. -- Can the Full spectrum inks work with the 780 or did I buy the wrong product? -- Where can I get a workflow and curves for the 780 with these inks? (or at least more information, or something similar that I can tweak.) Advice, pointers to other resources, anything would be helpful. I'm running Windows 2000, and I would like to use Somerset Velvet and/or Epson Archival Matt papers. Thanks, --Robin
