Digital BW, The Print

The idea of Monthly exchanges started out as a leaky boat moving in 
an uncertain direction.

The MARCH EXCHANGE was an animal theme exchange that had a couple "no 
shows" that delayed the delivery of prints...but eventually, we got 
the prints out and everyone was quite pleased with the fantastic 
variety and quality of the prints. 

The APRIL EXCHANGE (trick theme)is just about ready to ship...again, 
slightly delayed by 2 late shippers, but we'll get them out one way 
or the other next week.

The MAY EXCHANGE (no theme) filled in under 2 hours and I think we 
have a system now...3 alternates so we will always be able to count 
on 15 participants even if someone drops out or doesn't ship on time.

The JUNE EXCHANGE (no theme)also filled in about an hour.

The JULY EXCHANGE (patriotic theme)still has 3 spaces left.

The AUGUST EXCHANGE (flower theme) will open shortly.

I have started a separate group (so as not to fragment this list) for 
posting the images and discussing them. It is up to each participant 
to post the image, so not all may be there, but most of the March 
ones are up and the April ones are starting to make their way there.

I think the boat is moving smartly now and hope you all enjoy the 
exchanges...they have really been a great opportunity for newcomers 
to get a look at others works, and for many experienced printers to 
show, share and exchange some incredible prints.
