FYI, I just received this from someone on from another Yahoo list I'm on.
Sure enough, I was signed up to receive 'valuable information' ( i.e. all
kinds of crap) from 'yahoo businesses only'. Anyone who doesnt like spam
should check their settings. The downside of freebies in a free market I
guess.

Yahoo has recently added something called Marketing Preferences. As a
result,
your account may have been automatically set to receive what they consider
valuable information but you probably consider Spam. To reset it, Go to:

http://subscribe.yahoo.com/showaccount

Sign in and then you should see "Edit Marketing Preferences". Make the
changes
you want and then click the "Save Changes" button.
