Any idea why the blacks are going the other direction > from > what you are measuring on Museo? 1) The spray may be increasing scattering and reflectivity of the coating used in the EAM.. 2) Pigment may actually migrate into the spray.. if that happens, the physical density (per volume, not optically) of the pigment would axiomatically drop.. since you would then be passing through pigment over a further distance, the chance of scattering and reflection as light passes through the suspension will increase.. That would decrease overall Dmax. If the latter is the case, laying down extra pigment on higher density areas (when a print is intended to be sprayed) should help...
