Paul,

My measurements (finally got the Spectrocam) were on prints that had 3 or 4
coats of Golden varnish brush applied. I never found any Dmax increase with
the sprays and sometimes it caused a decrease. I believe that the sprays may
increase the light scatter. Rather than moving towards glossy they can take
you towards a pearl finish.
