Todd - I have lots of Epson Heavyweight Matte so I've been using that; Jerry suggests that EHM is similar enough to EAM for the curves to work equally well. See my reply to Jerry: it's possible that the problem lies in mismatched color spaces (and an inability on my part to read plain English...).
