When you change ink types in a CIS, it's best to get a new cartridge so the
inks don't mix in the sponges. I think they are reasonably priced. Some
do just print purge patterns unit the old ink is diluted, but it'll take a
while.

Subject: [Digital BW] changing of ink
I have just purchased the MIS VM-S-N ink. I was using the original
quadtones in a CIS and the ink is not yet finished, however I want to
install the new ink. My question is this, what is the best approach
to get rid of the old ink and put in the new one (4oz bottles).
Thanks
Mo
