Brand new exchanged 1280 (third one). I'm getting bands at 90 degrees to the printhead pass. They are quite thin, look like digital artifacts but are not, don't run the length of the print, and don't seem to show up in a particular tonal range. On the first stage of the 1280 alignment you align the black nozzles, and mine are good. The second stage does the "color" alignment and you choose the least grainy of a series of boxes in two columns. Even the least grainy box is pretty grainy. I suspect this is the problem. Perhaps I did too many alignments trying to get this part perfect. Is there any way to reset to factory defaults without taking it in for service? TIA, Dennis Craven
