Please report how you like the Howtek after you play with it awhile.
Since it's 4000 ppi, I'd like to know just how much better it is than a
Polaroid SS120, Minolta Pro, or Imacon Photo.

No...I just sold mine on ebay for $455. This will help pay for the 
Howtek 4000 drum scanner I purchased on ebay. Make room for 
a drumscanner and don't tell your wife I told you any of this.
