RE: [Digital BW] Help! Print head jammed

2002-05-13 by Nij

Chris,

It sounds like your head is probably getting jammed on the wiper that is
designed to clean the print-heads. This is a relatively common problem (for
me anyway!). You need to get at the print-head any-which-way you can and
move it back into it's recess... watch out for inky fingers.

...Then, hope it's a one-off and park and lock the print head, then turn on
the printer. If it happens again, you know your print-head-wiper is blown
and it's service time for the little beauty!
