Does anyone know if the European Epson printers/drivers produce a different color balance to the American ones? I have read that the japanese themselves prefer a different color balance in their own models of Epson printers. If there were some subtle differences between the European and American printers (apart from obvious things like paper sizes), that might account for the fact that some people report good results and others bad results with the same ink/paper/profile combinations on a particular printer. As well as making it more difficult for European users of quad inks to use Paul Roark's curves. Just a thought.
