The curves as stated by MIS are very printer specific. Mine is the 740 so the closest one was Paul Roark's curves for the 1160. The first try of these curves unmodified starting from cool, to neutral cool, medium warm, and then warm, showed progressively darker prints. Actually very dark if not dripping ink at the warm end. However I was able to tweak his curves to get very good grayscale with virtually no perceptible dots in the highlights when viewed under a loupe except for the very fine random dithering in the light brown/blue ink mix.
